So you just found us and you own not a single *Pretties* bow.  Or maybe any bow or korker for that matter. 

The choices! The options! It can be overwhelming to the Korker Newbie.  So take a seat and get ready for your first lesson in *Pretties* 101. 

You found us because you needed to match an outfit.  Or you heard of these "korker bows" and google brought you here.  Or maybe you are a referral customer.  Whatever the reason, welcome! 

What you first need to do is decide on which size(s) you would like to purchase.  We currently have 4 sizes (with a Teeny Tiny *Pretties* in the works, our smallest size ever for the smallest of spouts!)

Itty-Bitty *Pretties*:  These are currently our smallest size.  They come in pairs only and are about 2.5" across.  You may choose up to 8 colors and patterns to be included in your custom design, or choose one of our (or Autumn's!) favorites.  This size works well on all ages, and on headbands.

Tweenies: This size is perfect for headband use because they come as singles.  I also really like this size as pigtails for my 15 month old (who has lots of hair).  They are slightly larger and fuller than the IBP (Itty-Bitty *Pretties*) but smaller than the Bitty *Pretties*.  You may choose up to 8 colors and patterns to be included in your custom design, or choose one of our (or Autumn's!) favorites.  This size works well for headbands and as pigtail pairs on girls with hair (no matter the age). 

Bitty *Pretties*: This is the "standard" korker size.  Sold as singles, looks great as a single or as pigtails for girls who have more hair.  I also like the look of the larger ones on the headbands.  These are about 3-3.5" across (which isn't as big as it sounds!)  You may choose up to 8 colors and patterns to be included in your custom design, or choose one of our (or Autumn's!) favorites.  This size works well for headbands and on slightly older toddlers with hair.

Original *Pretties*: This is the largest size we offer, about 4-4.5" across.  Very thick and full!  On the older infant who can wear the headbands this size is beautiful and will definitely draw some attention!  Perfect for little girls and older girls as a single, or pigtails.  Popular size for school-age girls. You may choose up to 8 colors and patterns to be included in your custom design, or choose one of our (or Autumn's!) favorites.  This size works well for headbands on older infants and on little girls and school-age girls with more hair.  French clips are recommended for this size.

Next up, Clip Styles!

Alligator Clips:  pinch clips with a single prong.  Slips in hair easily.  IBPs only come with this option.  We cover ours in ribbon that is heat sealed as well to prevent fraying.  You can also get a Strippy of No Slippy Grippy which will help in the thinnest of hair!  This is the easiest option for most moms and dads to use!

French Clips: these are the snap open and close clips and are recommended for the Original size.  If you need this style clip on any other item (character bow, etc) you can indicate this in the special instructions box.  Great for thick hair!

Ponytail Holders: a high quality white or black thick ponytail holder, we will best match the *pretties* color scheme.  These can be slightly tricky to maneuver, but some moms prefer them.  Recommended only for little girls with lots of hair or older girls when you don't prefer the french clip. 

So you have your size, your clip style, now what about colors? 

Well, the choice is all yours!  If you choose a custom *Pretties* you will be able to enter up to 8 colors and patterns of your choice.  Make a favorite color combination or match a beloved outfit.  You can find a link to the ribbon color choices in the menu to the left.  We do recommend ordering a color card for perfect matches as all monitors can display colors differently.  Need a color you don't see? Contact us, 90% of the time we can get it or already have it but in smaller amounts.  Have no clue what colors to pick?  You can choose the option to send us a picture and we will work our magic.  Please read our disclaimer in the store policies about custom matched *pretties*!

Phew.  But if you think this is hard, wait until your darling daughter is bringing home her 4th grade math assignments!

Most importantly, have fun! You'll be delighted when you see the final product arrive at your doorstep.  You'll want to pop them in her hair and for the first time ever, you'll be so excited to do the grocery shopping because you just HAVE to show off her new *Pretties*!  Soak in the compliments!
